The Lakeway Community Foundation (LCF) is governed by the trustees of the Lakeway Civic Corporation (LCC). It differs from the LCC in that it is able to receive charitable contributions. The LCF began as a gift of approximately $260,000 from Jack and Myrtle Hamilton who expressed that the money be used solely to maintain the property known as the Hamilton Greenbelt. In 2022 the LCF reimbursed the City of Lakeway $8,250.67 for maintenance of the Greenbelt.
