Office Manager Opportunity

The Lakeway Civic Corporation (LCC) is seeking a part-time Office Manager to support the organization’s financial, administrative, and board operations. The position averages 20 hours per month and offers a flexible schedule. To ensure a smooth transition, the selected candidate will work alongside the current Office Manager for approximately two months.

Position Summary

The Office Manager serves as a key administrative and financial support resource for the Lakeway Civic Corporation Board of Directors. The role works closely with the President and Treasurer and assists with organizational operations, board communications, financial management, and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Administration
  • Review financial statements and enter transactions into QuickBooks.
  • Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
  • Manage banking activities, including deposits, cash flow forecasting, and fund transfers.
  • Coordinate with the organization’s CPA regarding tax returns and audit/review requirements.
  • Process payroll and prepare/file payroll tax reports and related returns.
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices and expenses.
  1. Board Meeting Support
  • Prepare materials and logistics for monthly Board of Directors meetings.
  • Coordinate meeting space and required documentation.
  • Attend board meetings, record meeting notes, and prepare official meeting minutes.
  • Distribute minutes and supporting documents as needed.
  1. Calendar and Event Coordination
  • Maintain the LCC calendar of meetings, events, and organizational deadlines.
  • Notify board members of upcoming events, action items, and scheduling needs.
  • Coordinate event planning and logistical arrangements.
  • Serve as a liaison with the City of Lakeway regarding meeting facilities and collaborative projects.
  1. Software Proficiency

Candidates should be comfortable working with:

  • QuickBooks
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word

Strong financial and administrative skills, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
